The Purple Door Studios, founded by Madeline Wiener in 1989, is a stone carving studio.
Unique, often monumental sculpture is created with a variety of power tools in an industrial yet creative setting.
Sculptors include: Mark Brodie, Kathi Caricof, Edy Cherniack, Mike Clapper, Vanessa Clarke, Steve Dorrian, Greg Spitzer, Ryszard, Tom Wermers, Josh Wiener, Madeline Wiener, and furniture-maker Phil Mann.
The studio is located at 1335 35 th Street, in Denver, Colorado - see map. The River North neighborhood ( RiNo District ) is home to a growing art community.
The Purple Door is also, the home of the Marble/marble Symposium ( www.marbleinst.org ).
